Christmas at Clearwell Caves

Various dates in December

Clearwell caves lie beneath the Forest of Dean on the Herefordshire/Gloucester border. It’s about an hour from Discover Parks, but well worth the drive. It’s a natural cave system that’s been mined for centuries. There are nine caverns and during December Santa turns up!

There’s an underground cafe selling drinks and snacks and a magical world to be found as the animals prepare for the big day – underground.
