Discover Parks is a ‘responsible business’
Discover Parks has received an accreditation recognising the business’s commitment to upholding ethical standards across the company.
Discover Parks has been recognised for its ongoing commitment to running a responsible business.
The holiday park group includes Arrow Bank, Pearl Lake and Rockbridge Country Holiday Parks. The Good Business Charter accreditation (GBC), acknowledges the company’s continued drive to raise its operating standards.

Discover Parks has demonstrated its commitment to employees, customers and wider stakeholders. The business improved working conditions, put a strong commitment to employee inclusion and wellbeing, paid fair tax and reduced its impact on the local environment.
Discover Parks is owned and run by the Jones family and is based in North Herefordshire. It has three holiday parks in Shobdon, Eardisland and just over the Welsh border in Presteigne.
Owner and Managing Director, Glenn Jones, says the accreditation recognises teamwork and sends a positive message to holiday homeowners and guests: “We’re really proud to be accredited by the Good Business Charter. This milestone reflects our dedication to upholding the highest ethical standards across all our operations.
“We put 100% into ensuring our three holiday parks, Arrow Bank, Pearl Lake and Rockbridge, are run responsibly and transparently. It’s an accolade our team can be proud of. However, it’s also an affirmation for owners and customers that we’re running an ethical business. Moreover, at a time when bad news dominates, we’re delighted to bring some good news to Herefordshire!”

To achieve the accreditation Discover Parks had to reach 10 key milestones. These included paying a real living wage; fairer hours and contracts; equality; diversity and inclusion; environmental responsibility; ethical sourcing and prompt payment to suppliers.
The charter is developed by independent charity, The Good Business Foundation.
