As Wales' first Dark Sky Community, Presteigne offers some of the darkest skies in the UK and Rockbridge is right in the heart of it.
Our purpose-built stargazing dome is kitted out with a professional telescope and binoculars - everything you need to explore the night sky.
Every lodge at Rockbridge comes with its own private hot tub - perfect for soaking up the fresh Welsh air and big countryside views.
Out here, away from any light pollution, the night sky reveals everything – the mooon, planets, and the full sweep of the Milky Way.
Under the valley’s clear, dark skies, train our powerful telescope on Jupiter’s moons, Saturn’s rings or the craters of our own moon.
Settle in with binoculars, wrap up in a blanket and get your bearings under the stars. Our dome is a great place to learn the night sky.

Prefer to bring your own set-up? Our touring and camping pitches put you in a prime spot in one of the UK’s best stargazing locations. Pitch up, set out your chairs with a blanket over your knees and a glass in hand, and watch the Milky Way unfold overhead.
