The lounge is a particular feature of the home because of the stunning views. A large sliding patio door takes you straight out onto your own patio, with a small privet hedge for privacy. Immediately beyond that is the River Arrow and across the river are acres of fields – a truly spectacular view.
All of which can be seen when you’re sitting on the l-shaped sofa which easily seats 5. There’s also an easy chair for further seating. The sofa doubles as a sofa bed if you have guests staying. There’s a feature electric gas flame fire and lots of storage shelves and drawers.

The bedrooms and bathrooms are down the corridor at the far end of the home. But first, there’s a really useful coat cupboard which is often missing in other holiday homes. Then, and this is a biggy, there’s a utility room with a sink, shelving and other storage! There’s plumbing in here for a washing machine too.
Next is the spacious family bathroom with a double shower and heated towel rail. Here’s another surprise – there’s a door in this bathroom leading directly into the guest/twin room. They call it a Jack and Jill bathroom; in effect it’s another ensuite!
The twin bedroom is a really good size, with a wardrobe, shelving above the beds plus a mirror and shelf. The master bedroom is a truly calming space in muted browns and creams. There’s heaps of storage and shelving above the double bed which also has storage underneath. A double wardrobe with drawers sits in a small alcove next to the door to the ensuite bathroom.

The Sherwood is a special home due in no small part to its riverside location. But the interior has some extras too, like the utility room and Jack and Jill bathroom. We think it’ll be snapped up quickly – so come along and have a look!
