Worcester Christmas market

Now in its 33rd year, this Christmas event is not be missed. The Worcester Victorian Christmas Fayre still sticks to its theme so there’s a real ‘feel’ to it with characters, entertainers and buskers at every turn. There’s a carousel and funfair and of course the sounds of a Victorian barrel organ.

This year the fayre promises 200 stalls selling everything from local arts, crafts and gifts. Plus, there’s an excellent choice of street food.

One of the highlights is Gin Lane, found between the Shambles and New Street. Step back to a time of hawkers and pickpockets, gin shops and curious alchemists. Street performers, jugglers and choirs bring the alley to life, turning every corner into a glimpse of old Worcester at its most mischievous. Just an hour’s drive from Discover Parks.
